Bank of Baroda also commonly referred to as BOB, is a government-owned financial institution that was founded in 1908 within the Princely State of Baroda. It underwent nationalization on the 19th of July, 1969, along with 13 other significant commercial banks. BOB’s main office is located in Vadodara, Gujarat, and it proudly goes by the tagline India’s International Bank.

Selection process of Bank of Baroda:
The Bank of Baroda exam consists of two papers and an Interview:
- Paper 1
- Paper 2
1. Paper I:
- Reasoning & Computer Aptitude: 50 questions, 75 marks,
- English & Hindi, 2 hours 30 minutes.
- General/Economy/Banking Awareness: 40 questions, 40 marks.
- Quantitative Aptitude: 40 questions, 50 marks.
- English Language: 35 questions, 35 marks, in English.
- Total for Paper I: 165 questions, 200 marks
2. Paper II:
English Language (Letter & Essay Writing): 2 questions, 50 marks, in English, 30 minutes.
3. Interview:
Candidates who pass the Bank of Baroda PO online written exam will be called for a Personal Interview, Group Discussion, or Psychometric Test. The bank will select up to four times the number of positions available in each category for these stages. Those who succeed in both stages of the BOB PO Exam and have high rankings will be offered the BOB PO position. During the GD/PI process, candidates need to provide their original documents and photocopies for verification
Pay scale of Bank of Baroda:
The pay scale of the candidates is: Rs.52,000 – Rs.55,000
How to apply for Bank of Baroda:
- Use the official link to apply online, the system does not accept any other application methods.
- Keep an email ID and contact number active throughout the BOB PO selection process.
- Scan the photograph and signature according to the dimensions mentioned in the BOB PO notification. Ensure that you do not use capital letters for your signature.
- Exercise caution when filling out the BOB PO online application, as changes are not allowed after final submission.
- You can modify your Bank of Baroda online application before the final submission to correct any errors.
- After you fill out the application, the system will direct you to the payment system.
- Once you complete the online payment of the BOB PO application fee, the system will send an email/SMS with your Registration Number and Password to the provided email ID/Mobile Number.
Documents need for verification of Bank of Baroda:
- In the examination hall and during the interview, you must have your call letter and a photocopy of a valid photo identity document.
- Acceptable identity documents include PAN Card, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter’s Card, Bank Passbook with a photograph, Photo identity proof from a Gazetted Officer or People’s Representative with a photograph, Identity Card from a recognized college or university, Aadhar card with a photograph, or Employee ID.
- The invigilator will check your identity by comparing it with the details on the call letter and the Attendance List.
- If there are doubts about your identity, you may not be allowed to take the exam or attend the interview.
- Ration Card is not considered a valid ID proof for this project.
