Mathematical Research Impact Centric Support

The Mathematical Research Impact Centric Support is a program offered by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. It is designed for individuals holding a PhD or M.D./M.S./M.D.S./M.V.Sc degree. The primary goal of this initiative is to provide consistent grant support to accomplished researchers in Mathematical Sciences, Theoretical Sciences, and Quantitative Social Sciences. Successful applicants will be awarded an annual research grant of INR 2,00,000 for three years.

Eligibility of Mathematical Research Impact-Centric Support :

To qualify, applicants must:

– Possess a Ph.D. or M.D./M.S./M.D.S./M.V.Sc degree.

– Be employed regularly in academic institutions, national labs, or other recognized research and development institutions.

– Actively conduct research in either Mathematical Sciences, Science and Engineering (excluding mathematical sciences), or Social Sciences, utilizing mathematical, statistical, and computational techniques for quantitative analysis.

– Have completed their degree at least five years before proposing the project to demonstrate individual experience.

– Have a minimum of four years of remaining service before retiring as of the proposal submission date.

Benefits of the Mathematical Research Impact-Centric Support :

Selected candidates will receive an annual research grant of INR 2,00,000 for three years.
