The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is presenting the UNESCO/Poland Co-sponsored Fellowships in Engineering 2023, targeting B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree holders. This initiative is designed to enhance human resource capacities in developing countries. Successful candidates will be awarded up to 2,200 PLN along with additional benefits.
Eligibility of UNESCO/Poland Co-sponsored Fellowships in Engineering
To qualify, the applicant must possess either a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree.
Benefits of the UNESCO/Poland Co-sponsored Fellowships in Engineering
The chosen candidate will receive the following advantages:
– A monthly stipend of 1,500 PLN for B.Sc. degree students and 2,200 PLN for M.Sc. degree students.
– A one-time special grant of 1,500 PLN for B.Sc. degree students or 2,200 PLN for M.Sc. degree holders upon their arrival in Poland.
– Round-trip airfare (via the most direct and cost-effective route) to and from Krakow, Poland.
– Health insurance coverage of up to US$ 50,000, meeting EU requirements for Schengen visa, for fellowship recipients declared medically fit.
– A one-time special pocket allowance of 120 US dollars.
Documents needed to apply for UNESCO/Poland Co-sponsored Fellowships in Engineering
– Complete the UNESCO fellowships application forms.
– Attach two photographs (4×6 cm) to the applications.
– Provide certified copies of the obtained Bachelor’s or Master’s degree/Ph.D.
– Include the UNESCO certificate of language.
– Obtain two letters of recommendation from individuals connected to the candidate’s work.
Ways to apply for the UNESCO/Poland Co-sponsored Fellowships in Engineering
To submit the candidatures of eligible candidates, the invited Member State should follow these steps:
1. Click the ‘Apply Now’ button below.
2. Register by clicking the ‘Register’ button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and fill in the necessary details. (Note: If already registered, log in using the registered email Id.)
3. Access the ‘Links for the application documents’ and download the required documents.
4. The invited Member State should send all documents through their National Commission by midnight (Central Europe time), 28 April 2023, via email to f.pashayev@unesco.org, l.zas-friz@unesco.org, and unesco4@agh.edu.pl.
