The University of Birmingham is actively offering the Global Masters Scholarship 2023 to support academically talented international students worldwide who are applying for master’s degrees. As part of this initiative, successful candidates will receive a tuition fee discount of GBP 2,000.
Eligibility of The University of Birmingham Global Masters Scholarship
To be eligible for the Global Masters Scholarship at the University of Birmingham UK Campus for the academic year 2023/24, applicants must:
- Hold citizenship in India or one of the specified countries.
- Have received or accepted an offer of admission for a taught master’s degree at the University of Birmingham.
- Be categorized by the University as an overseas fee payer for tuition fee purposes.
- Commence studies at the University in September/October 2023 on an on-campus course.
- Complete online registration by 3rd October 2023.
- Demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and provide evidence for this in the scholarship application statement.
Please note the following:
- Applicants pursuing a course delivered solely as a ‘distance learning’ program are ineligible for this scholarship.
- Students applying for programs in the Birmingham Business School are ineligible for this scholarship but may apply for other separate MSc and MBA scholarships offered by the business school.
- Undergraduate programs, including MBChB, MEng, M.Sci., and M.Pharm., are not eligible.
- Postgraduate programs, including MPhil, MRes, MMus, and MLit, are not eligible. PGDip and PGCert programs are also excluded.
- Students studying at the University of Birmingham Dubai campus are ineligible for this scholarship.
Benefits of the University of Birmingham Global Masters Scholarship
Recipients of the scholarship will be granted a £2,000 GBP discount, which will be subtracted from their total tuition fees upon their enrollment in September 2023.

Note: To accept the scholarship, applicants must formally acknowledge the offer received from the University’s Admissions Office before August 31, 2023.
